ReplyDeletedami mali sa steps... from the beginning to the end.. they literally did not follow the codified steps written by Francesca Reyes Aquino.. Whats the sense of her lifelong labor in coding the steps of different Philippine folk dances if it will not be followed..
ReplyDeleteFIGURE 1: should be 2 waltz steps sideward right and left with arms in lateral position with the fingers fluttering.. and then do kumintang right and left near the ear.. and then repeat the steps 7 more times..
FIGURE 2: the steps should have been correct if they counted right.. the counting was not proper.. and the turn should be a three step turn not a four waltz turn.
FIGURE 3: IS "VISIBLY WRONG" they missed the three step turn before repeating step close for the steps... they even started doing the steps in figure four while the music was still in the middle part of figure 3
FIGURE 4: same comment as in figure 3
AND MOST SPECIALLY! ALITAPTAP is not in 2/4 time signature its in 3/4 time signature...
that is why you were counting one two three to a measure!
